Off The Streets
Off the Streets was founded in 2009 by Deacon Michael
Oles in Danbury with a mission of helping get peopleout
of homelessness and into housing. Volunteers seek to get
to know the homeless as individuals, and always treat
them with dignity and respect. OTS helps pay up-front
rental costs, and provides food, linens and furnishings,
and provides ongoing counseling
Fisher House Foundation
Fisher House Foundation is best known for a
nationwide network of comfort homes where
military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost
while a loved one is receiving treatment. A
significant portion of the proceeds from the 2016
golf outing went to support the construction of a
house near the VA Hospital in West Haven, CT.
Homes for the Brave
Since opening its doors in 2002, ABRI/Homes for the
Brave has provided housing, vocational training and job
placement, mental health and addiction services, and life
skills coaching to help individuals, especially Veterans,
leave homelessness behind. To date, the organization has
worked with more than 900 individuals
Al's Angels
In 2004, Al’s Angels was founded with the mission
of providing moments of joy and comfort to families
that are challenged by childhood cancer, rare blood
diseases, and severe financial hardship. Over the
past 8 years, Al’s Angels has provided holiday meals
and toys to over 12,00 families and 20,000 childre
Malta's House
Providing Hope for Life for new and expectant mothers
and families. Since 1998, Malta House’s mission has been
to promote the dignity of God-given life by providing a
nurturing home environment, support services and
independent living skills to pregnant and parenting
mothers of all faiths and their children.
St. Jude Children's Hospital
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962, is a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases, particularly leukemia and other cancers. The hospital costs about US$2.8 million a day to run, but patients are not charged for their care.
All Saints Catholic School
All Saints Catholic School is a fully accredited elementary/middle school with approximately 450 students in Preschool through 8th grade. With two classrooms per grade, the school provides an environment rich in academic, spiritual and emotional learning. All Saints is located on a 5-acre campus, with playing fields and a full outdoor track.
